I recently went through surgery to remove skin cancer from my face. What was originally thought to be Basil Cell Carcinoma became worse whent he doctor went in to remove the cancer. It turns out my cancer was a combination of Basil Cell Carcinoma and Squamous that worked together to become much bigger than it originally was. I am now in the recovery process from my surgery and will have a scar on my face. While I know this round was not fatal it is still scary to hear the word cancer. I cannot express enough how important it is for everyone to protect their skin from the sun and to prevent skin cancer. Many of us might say it takes to long to put on sunscreen or they don't want to feel greasy all day. However, a small inconvenience now, can be worth so much more when you don't have to go through what I just did.
